The Cosmic Collection

The Cosmic Collection started with the Amur Tiger in 2018. Playing around with blending techniques Karrie-Anne was experimenting in Photoshop. The “Cosmic Tiger” as she was then called quickly became the face of K-A Art and Photography and has been the icon of Karrie’s social media platforms and a business feature regular. It wasn’t until several years later Karrie-Anne’s father suggest a new photograph, the kingfisher, might look cool as a cosmic. K-A was dubious but thought why not and thus began the quest for her first art series.

Naming each piece was something Karrie took almost as much care in as creating the pieces themselves. Karrie-Anne has always loved myths, legends and gods in various cultures, starting with her love affair of Egyptology. Although no ancient Egyptian influence has snuck into this collection, we have no doubt it will make an appearance sooner or later.
